The nine documents.

Passport
Original, valid for at least 6 months with blank visa pages.

CNIC — both sides
Clear colour scan of the front and back.

Admission Notice
Issued by your Chinese university.
- 04
JW202 Form
Confirmation form for study in China, issued by the Ministry of Education of PRC.
- 05
Police Character Certificate
Apostilled if there is no QR code on the certificate.

Passport-size Picture
White background, recent, matching visa photo specifications.

Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
Issued by NADRA and apostilled by MOFA.

Bank Account Maintenance Letter
Issued by the bank and apostilled from MOFA.

Last 6 Months Bank Statement
Closing balance of PKR 5,000,000 or above, apostilled by MOFA. Attach the sponsor's CNIC/ID copy, Affidavit of Financial Support and Sponsor ID Affidavit where applicable.

The online application process.

Open the official visa portal
Go to visaforchina.cn and select your application centre region.

Create a student account
Register with the student's email, set a strong password and security questions.
- 03
Log in and start the application
Choose the Student visa category and the correct country/region and centre.

Fill out the application form
Enter personal, academic and travel details exactly as they appear on the passport.

Prepare all required documents
Complete apostille and MOFA attestation before you begin uploading.

Scan documents properly
Very important — high-resolution colour scans, full page, no cropping or glare.

Upload documents in the correct sections
Mismatched uploads are the most common reason for rejection.

Review and confirm
Re-check every field, then submit and book your appointment.
